Korda Developments was set up 1992 by Danny Fairbrass who had grown up in the very 'carpy' area of Essex. Danny started making his own leads after those commercially available deteriorated in quality. His super smooth highly dense leads became an instant hit with local anglers. Local tackle dealers explained the need for other shapes and recognising his niche in the market, Korda Developments was born. Danny is a self-confessed perfectionist, a trait that heavily influences Korda. The 'Developments' part of the name seemed appropriate because Danny does not claim to be an inventor, instead he develops an existing idea to make it as 'perfect' as he can.
At the time of writing this Korda are adding new colours to their range and dropping and re-naming some of the old ones. As a result we have a mix of old and new colours in some items, only the new in others and only the old in more! Going forward all colours will be as we have them listed, but in the meantime, until Korda have gone through their old stocks we could have some substitute colours that are as close as possible instead.
