New range of clothing for 2008 - the best Nash range of clobber yet!
Nashie says "Nothing comes close to duck-down for warmth. I hit on it when I realised how small a garment insulated with it, compacted. The amount of insulation we need in our clothing on chilly evenings and winter nights means that you can’t walk to your swim in it - unless you want to cook! You try. My Zero Tolerance jacket and trousers are pukka. They reduce down to nothing for ease of storage and transportation. When you arrive at your swim and cool down, put ‘em on and it’s like wearing a sleeping bag. My mates and me swear by Zero Tolerance. We have fished in hot water fed canals, in Europe, down to temperatures of minus 20 degrees and kept dry and warm as toast."
100% waterproof. 100% duck-down insulation.

Nashie says "Second Skin thermals seriously impressed me. When we first got the samples we were doing a winter work party at my lake in France. We were working in the water, in chest-waders, and could only bear the cold for ten minutes at a time so I tried the Second Skins and was stunned. I could work all day. Mad to think that one thin layer of thermals could make such a difference. Essential winter wear. I also wear the bottoms under Combat trousers, on chilly spring and autumn evenings, to keep me snug and warm."
Fingerless Neoprene Carp Mitz
Nashie says "Unless it’s the peak of the winter freeze when I always use my Zero Tolerance Duckdown clobber, I’ve always got my Combat waterproof jacket and over-trousers in my kit. Based on my army mates’ gear, they combat all weathers. They store down to nothing, so I never get caught out with an unexpected summer shower. They have saved my sessions a few times, too, when a bone-chilling wind that cuts right through you has picked up."
Guaranteed 100% waterproof as well as breathable and windproof.
Nashie says "I used to get a machinist to line the inside of my fleece hoodies to stop cutting winds chilling my neck. I’ve done it for years. Then the obvious struck me – why not skin up the whole thing and on the outside? That way it would be totally windproof and the fleece would stay dry if I got caught out in a shower."
With its outer waterproof layer and cosy fleece the Combat Max Hoodie is a really flexible piece of carp clobber. It will take you through chilly winds and dampness in spring. Slip it on when the sun sets and temperatures drop on summer nights and wear through the autumn until winter bites.
Nashie says "I got fed up with wearing the knees out of High Street clobber and not having enough pockets – especially secure, zipped pockets – so I designed these. Made of a hard-wearing material and with eight pockets to hold all your essential bits and pieces they are great for when you’re fishing but smart enough to wear to the pub. And when the weather turns red-hot you can zip off the legs and turn them into shorts."
The most popular and adaptable fishing trousers around, available in two weights - here and below
Nashie says "I used to wear trainers when carping in summer until, one day, while walking to a swim, I slipped on a gravelly bank and rolled my ankle, ripping the tendons. Ouch! That hurt – but more to the point it put me out of carping for two months. I was well gutted. Army Dave gave me a pair of the boots he wore in Iraq. I thought they were pukka – nice and light and, more importantly, they fully supported my ankles. So, based on the British Army’s desert boots, Nash Combat Desert Boots are the first light-weight summer footwear designed specifically for carp anglers."
Featuring lightweight, breathable canvas/suede upper and ankle support, Nash Combat Desert Boots will keep you cool in summer and their rugged, hard-wearing soles are guaranteed to be long lasting on hard gravel banks.
The first Trakkis designed and styled for the carp angler. Loose fitting bottoms for unrestricted movement and bivvy comfort and the Trakki hoodie keeps the chill off in the twilight hours.
Two weights available - Trakki Lites are for summer use while Trakki Heavies (below) are for the rest of the year.
Super-soft and comfortable fleece, but with a short zip to the neck which adds style as well as practicality. They not only keep you comfortable and warm but look great in the trophy shots and the pub - standard kit in which to visit carp shows.
